Our group worked with admin to help make the school cleaner and more presentable for our lovely visitors.
Rewind Program Advisory Board(stands for Rebuilding Expectations and Walking into New Directions)
Its a program for youth who have violated a Longmont Municipal Ordinance, such as substance possession, theft and assault. The programs serves youth ages 10-17 years old. Youth in the REWiND Program will go through an assessment, and based on their need, can be referred different classes or interventions. Some of these services include counseling, life-skills and healthy decision making classes, and substance education groups
We meet once a month for an hour and talk about how we can constantly make our program evolve so we can continue to make a difference in longmont Colorado.
Internships
Through Public Achievement I coached a group of middle school students at (Casey Middle School) we developed a website where they each individually uploaded collages that represent a form of awareness when it comes talking about Racial Injustices around their communities and school.
