Create/share art lessons in watercolor, pastels, and collage with seniors in 2-hr classes 3-4 times per year on a contract basis

Create age-appropriate lesson plans for elementary school-age children in cooperation with teachers and PTA/PTO. Lead other volunteers and assist in classrooms in which art instruction is unavailable. Administer the ICA Picture Person Program as Art Docent in the 4th through 6th grades. Have also prepared and taught lessons for Kindergarten and 1st-grade classes. Lesson plans include artist/art history, discussion of a featured artwork, an art concept, element or principle, and creation of an art project inspired by the artist and driving home the concept.
