An ambitious sustainability professional,passionate about making cities more liveable and addressing pressing issues of climate change and resiliency.
With a design background in architecture and a masters focused on research and systems thinking, my core strengths include finding cross-disciplinary solutions to problems and using strong visual language to convey my ideas.

Work History:

1) Green Infrastructure Fellow, Pratt Institute/The Gaia Institute , June 2018- June 2019
-The Living Shoreline Project:
Worked as part of a team of two under the guidance of plant biologist Dr. Paul
Mankiewicz to create a ‘Living Shoreline’ - an ecological filtration solution to divert and purify stormwater runoff from the existing parking lot adjacent to Van Cortlandt Lake in the Bronx.
Created conceptual renders and other graphics to communicate the design and presented it at meetings to Friends of Van Cortlandt,NYC Department of Parks and NYC Urban Soils Institute.
- Assisted in documenting existing conditions of green infrastructure sites- green roofs, green walls, rain gardens in parking lots, containing Gaia soil as the growing medium across NYC.
- Habitat Restoration and Ecotourism Development:
Created a proposal for the development of an oyster reef corridor, eco tourism and the ecological restoration of the western edge of the Long Island Sound through conceptual renders and graphics.

2) Graduate Assistant , Pratt Institute
- Data Assessment , May -August 2018
Worked directly with the Assessment and Information Systems Manager at Pratt’s Centre for Career Development to collect and organise data,update the digital repository and conduct data assessment to generate employment reports using Excel-VLOOKUP and GetResponse, an email marketing platform.

- Office of the Provost , October 2017- May 2018
Worked with the Head of Budget and Finance for data consolidation and analysis.

3)Junior Architect , NG Associates, Bangalore , India, Jan 2017- August 2017
- Designed multi-family, single-family residences ,institutional buildings and produced related construction drawings, details and renders.
- Corresponded regularly with all the stakeholders - clients, contractors,vendors,civil engineers to ensure that projects were delivered on time and within budget.

4)Junior Architect , LEAD Architects, Bangalore , India, Jan 2015- Jan 2016
- Worked on projects including single family and multi-family residences,religious buildings,hospitality as well as commercial and residential interiors.
- Produced all relevant drawings, details for the construction of these works and supervised their execution through regular site visits and liaised with civil engineers, clients etc.
