EDUCATION
Warren Hills Regional High School/St. Angela Gymnasium in Wipperfürth, Germany
July 2018 - Present
Transferred back to home district, upon acceptance into a year long study abroad program. At the St. Angela Gymnasium, is part of the school’s orchestra program and organizing a student-orchestrated jazz band, in addition to taking the highest course levels offered by the school, supplementing the experience with online AP Johns Hopkins CTY courses.

Under the free choice student program, attended HCRHS while residing in a neighboring district. As part of the school community, was a part of the musical scene, academia, and athletics. Was also awarded credit all 3 years for completing self study opportunities with Johns Hopkins CTY.
MUSICAL EXPERIENCE
Temple Harp Ensemble— Member and Mentor
September 2014 - June 2018
Attended bi weekly rehearsals to prepare for at least 2-3 performances per year. Assisted in rehearsal conduct, tuning, and as stagehand for student concerts and events and mentored young harpists of the ensemble. Performed as a soloist during the Temple Prep Chamber Group Gala Concerts (2017, 2018)
NJ Music Educators Association All State Orchestra and Band— Principal Harpist
2016 - Present
Selected for ensembles following a yearly audition process. Rehearses and performs under esteemed faculty each year. Performs at the Nicholas Music Center at Rutgers University, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and for the Annual NJ Teachers Conference in Atlantic City. Has also been invited to perform with the NJMEA Intermediate Orchestra and String Ensembles when in need of a harpist.

Member of ensemble under a full scholarship. Attended weekly rehearsals under the batons of Jeffery Grogan and Simon Lipskar to present at least four concerts per year. Participant of the annual Playathon fundraiser concert. Has also been invited to perform with the NJYS Youth Orchestra when in need of a harpist.

Has been part of the first tenor saxophone section since freshman year. Became principal player junior year (2017) and was invited to join the Jazz Combo group. Has volunteered with group at events hosted by the Rotary Club and etc.

Governor’s School of Engineering and Technology at Rutgers University— Scholar

Intensive residential summer program giving students the opportunity to explore disciplines of engineering, collaborate with other highly motivated students, and conduct and showcase research. During program, participated in the Mandela Foundation partnership.
Mandela Foundation Drone-Biotics Product— Participant

During the GSET session, had the opportunity to collaborate with students of the Mandela Foundation program. Was given the challenge of improving medical transport in Africa by creating a new product. The product created, “Drone-Biotics”, was reviewed by a local company, Promane and Promade Ltd, and was found to have real applications in Nigeria. Invited to conduct a teleconference and attend a tour in Nigeria.

14 straight hours to complete a moth model/solution to a real world problem. As a team of 5 students, we set out to use our knowledge of mathematics to solve this issue.

2018 Boston University Tanglewood Institute Harp Program- accepted to this acclaimed 6 week harp program that is limited to 4 students each summer. Awarded a scholarship covering more than half of the Tanglewood tuition.
2013-Present Johns Hopkins CTY Participant- MATHCOUNTS, Honors Algebra 2, Honors Geometry, Honors Precalculus, Honors Chemistry, AP Biology, and currently AP Macroeconomics and AP Chemistry.
Graduate of the Sowparnika Dance Academy of the Bharatanatyam Art- given distinction following over 10 years of education in the dance form.


2017 Selection into the German American Partnership exchange- accepted to this program to participate in a 3 week cultural and language exchange to Germany. During exchange, presented to german students about American life and school systems.
