Tele-Litho Inc., a small offset printing company in Ottawa, ON. Ran the operation including hiring and supervising trade professionals. Designed graphic art layout for business printing. Developed skills in the Desktop Publishing field and acquired computer expertise in layout of various brochures, marketing pamphlets or office supplies.
• Property Manager — 1982-1997
Beis Holdings, a start-up real-estate company located in Ottawa, ON. Managed nine rental units of mixed nature (residential and commercial). The job involved meeting and evaluating rental applicants, supervising repair and/or maintenance work. Obtained permits, managed construction, performed some para-legal services by serving termination notices or defending legal challenges from tenants. I also completed several refinancing of properties.
