I also, would plan events for the wine bar and wine tastings. I would educate the guests about the winery and where the wine came from as well as the different vintages and regions. I went over the palate and the aromas of the wine and told a little story about the winery and everyone left with the wine experience they came for. We had a retail wine store as well as a restaurant. So I always made sure our wine wall was always organized and every bottle was in the right place. Role & Tasks

I would create specialty cocktails, make a variety of coffee drinks with the exspesso machine and I was also trained by illy coffee expert. I would also educate my guests on all of the wine we had and learned their flavor palate then delivered the perfect wine for them.I would also do onsite training with new employess. Would prepare and file financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements. Checked inventory for required supplies such as, wine and liquors and cleaning supplies that we needed. For closing duties I would make sure all of the cleaning procedures were properly executed by me ,as well as from my other coworkers.I assisted my team and made sure the floor was running smoothly and guest had everything they needed to have a great experience.I was a key holder and was responsible for activating the alarm and locking the doors.

I would always demonstrate awareness of liability issues and the law by confirming legal drinking age and not continue to serve an intoxicated guest .I would make sure all of my guests were having a great experience at the restaurant . Prebussing the table after every course and making sure the table remained tidy. After my shift I would clean my section and any side work i had left to do and then cash out and do my check out.
