Earth Horizons is an innovative, NSF-funded multi-institutional program with the aim of increasing workforce diversity in the geosciences. A 1month geological camping trip through the state of Tennessee.

� Developed foundational geoscience knowledge and professional skills through coursework, research, and experience
� Participated in the month-long field course developed in partnership with Tennessee State Parks
� Visited 10 State Parks plus several additional parks, museums, and points of interest
� Investigated geology, hydrology, resource management, natural hazards, and cultural history
� Interacted with park rangers, museum scientists, students, institutional faculty and the general public
� Maintained a detailed field notebook and presented at end of course
