Pakistan Microfinance Network, Islamabad Mar 2018-June 2019
Research Analyst
- I conduct in-house policy research on the microfinance sector in Pakistan, access to finance and financial inclusion. This includes writing concept notes, grants, reports, literature reviews, research papers, conducting IDIs, FGDs etc.
- I designed and managed research projects independently, including developing the research methodology, liaising with consultants, research agencies and other stakeholders. The research feeds directly into the microfinance sector, product development and informs policy planning.
- Prepare project proposals and grants for funding for research projects focusing on financial inclusion, education, health and gender. Have secured funding for 4 research projects in 2018, amounting to USD 80K.
