Skills & Abilities

COMMUNICATION
• I am a Communications Studies major, and within my major specific classes, I have had to do many presentations, ranging from the material that I had learned while in the class, to promoting different companies and products to the class.
• Throughout my college career, I have learned how to better communicate with others, how to use verbal and non-verbal languages and cues, and how to pick up on the cues of others, as well as how to speak in front of others, amongst other learned skills.
• In high school, I was involved in a journalism class, where I had the opportunity to write for the local newspaper. My stories included sports reports and events that were taking place at my high school.
LEADERSHIP
• While in high school, I was involved in marching band, where I was the leader of my section. I was the one who made sure everyone was on the same page and that we all were where we were supposed to be on time.
• I tend to lead others towards a common goal, allowing myself, and others, the ability to show their strengths and teamwork skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS
• I have skills in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, YouTube, and Social Media.

OTHER SKILLS
• While at UNCG, I was a manager for the Women's Basketball Team for two years. During this time, I learned how to work as a team (in a fast-paced environment), how to organize travel information, and how to multitask; amongst other things.

• I am also CPR/AED/First Aid certified (05/12/2019).
