Hello, My name is Allie Henrie. I am a recent Centre College graduate. During my time at school I was a collegiate athlete, I was the team captain of the Women's Golf team. I am just finishing up an internship and am looking for a full time position.
In my current position as a Business Development intern, I have gained knowledge of how sales and marketing work in a large scale. I worked on email marketing campaigns and monitored event registration. In addition, my experience as a Marketing & Social Media intern, and a Sports Information Department Media assistant, has provided me with the qualifications to be a successful candidate.
Through my experience as a Marketing & Social Media intern at a non-profit organization, I learned several key skills that will enable me to thrive in this position. I have a lot of experience with updating websites, promotional newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and various other printed material. I worked closely with clientele to create marketing pieces that are tailored to their needs. In my position with The Wilderness Trace Community Foundation in January of 2018, I was recognized as their top marketing intern for my creativity and ability to work in a team setting.
Through my other internship as a Sports Information Department Media assistant, I became fluent in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I enjoyed creating programs, promos, and photographing athletes in action. In addition, working at Eagle Brook Country Club has allowed me to expand on my relational and communication skills when attending to member needs. The position also provided me with a leadership role, as I was the most senior employee and was responsible for training new hires. I also have experience working in banquets, setting up and organizing different member events.
I am task-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to any situation. I enjoy variety during my day. I believe that my experience and knowledge of golf will be my advantage and set me apart from the other applicants. I look forward to learning new skills that will help me promote TourEdge.
