INTERN, RICHARD HALL COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Provided intensive support treatment for adults with severe and persistent mental illness or had recently been hospitalization. Facilitate support groups, conduct intakes, assessments / evaluations, individual counseling, CSSRS, addictions / substance abuse/ homeless, clinical presentations to TX team, referral to PESS, IOP.

VOLUNTEER, IMAGINE, A CENTER FOR COPING WITH LOSS
Certified facilitator working with children and teenagers going through the grieving and bereavement process.

Work 1-on-1 with elderly people undergoing rehabilitation therapy. Working with patients who have depression and other psychological disorders as well as dementia (including Alzheimer’s). VOLUNTEER, WVU MEDICINE, AT CHESTNUT RIDGE CENTER
Conducting peer support group on each inpatient adult unit once per week. Focusing on topics of patient education and enhancing support systems using the peer support recovery model. This position also requires providing a variety of indirect client services, including office duties and organizing. Interaction with patients who deal with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

Work directly with residents in a continuing care retirement. Interviewing residents on their life, resulting in writing autobiographies for them. Planning social events, dinners, and researching topics for presentations. Collecting information on residents’ activity interests.
