Objective:
To further my knowledge in Marriage and Family Therapy, particularly as it relates to working with children.

I have a passion for helping people, especially children who have histories of abuse, or other psychological issues. My goal is to lead clients, their families and people to a point of wellness by using techniques that I have learned (and want to continue to learn and master) to improve their psychological well-being. I am a self-motivated learner who excels at scheduling, organizing, and planning my time, as well as the time of my team. Served as an MFT trainee for a variety of elementary school students.

• Attended weekly supervision which created a different discussion format that allowed different therapist and me to compile client’s notes in an organized manner. As well as providing me with new tools to better assess the clients.
• Assess the client and gave the client different tools to help achieve wellness in their individual situation.
• Created and properly assembled weekly notes by using a methodology that the clinic used.



May 2018- November 2018 Strength United
Northridge, CA
Performed as an MFT trainee for a variety of families.
• Developed new strategies and techniques to assist supervising MFT’s in treating their clients. Techniques involved using existing games to gather more information for the MFT from family members while others were in session. Results were a better analysis of the families’ situation for the MFT.
• Was introduced to this methodology to use the ‘BIRP method’ while conducting client notes
• During weekly supervision I often gave feedback to different therapist to help better assist their clients, and often received feedback from different therapists to help better serve my clients. As well as taking notes from the feedback being given for other people’s clients.
November 2017-Janurary 2018 Psychological Healing Center Los Angeles, CA
Serve as a life coach for Children in need.
• Provided counseling services to adolescents and teens in need of help. I orchestrated a method which provided the client a chance to talk about his issues and giving the client a chance to solve his own problems through talk.
• Met up every week for supervision where the supervisor gave her feedback on everybody cases and gave tools to make the therapy session more successful.
