Professional Summary
I am currently going to school full time to eventually get my B.A. in cyber security. I am attending Mesa Community College where I will get my A.S. in Computer Science and will transfer to University of Arizonas Cyber Security program.

I’m a Customer Service Representative that does everything in my power to help find the solution to my customers needs. Helping them track down the right materials for their project, locating a lost shipment, or just talking to them about tools, I always provide a good ear for listening and a solid mind for research. I build good rapport by speaking like I normally do, goofy mannerisms and all. There is something to be said for genuine interaction. I enjoy building a relationship with my coworkers. I’m amiable, an excellent listener, and always willing to help my teammates out. I strongly believe in leading by example and will do whatever I can to keep everyone happy and motivated.

Work History
Customer Service Representative, 04/2018 to Present
H------------ – 1616 W. 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281
Got a project? Let’s figure out what you need! Toilets? We’ve got toilets, let’s talk toilets! Patio sets? Vanities? Mowers? I’m happy to look into anything and everything you need. And guess what? If we don’t have it, I’d love to help you find who does. Even if it means sending you somewhere else, you know that Home Depot has your back and is willing to help with anything. Sometimes, packages get lost. That’s why I’m here. Let’s find your stuff for you. If I have to sit on hold for an hour to get you your pallet of vinyl flooring, I’m there. Need me to contact the manufacture to see if they are still making replacement parts for your five year old grill? I’ve got the emails and phone numbers to make it happen. Need a very specifically colored type of mulch? I’ll comb through a hundred products to help you find the right one.
Basically, if I can help in any way, I will.

Cashier, 03/2011 to 03/2018
Whole Foods Market – 5120 S. Rural Rd, Tempe, AZ 85282
First and foremost, I help build a friendly relationship with our customers. I feel that as cashiers on the front end, we are the face of our store. We make people feel appreciated and cared for. We bring them back in and make them feel like family. Beyond that, we care for their needs. We help answer questions they may have, we direct them to products, we give them personal insight on what's tasty and good. Of course, we do this in a timely manner, because no one wants to wait in a line forever. And I know I don't like seeing long lines full of unhappy people. We take care of customers. Provide a warm, friendly place for people to shop. And we safely handle money transactions.

Store Scanning Specialist, 01/2017 to 10/2017
Whole Foods Market – 2375 E. 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80206
As SSS, I was in charge of ensuring that all signage and pricing were accurate for all products in the store. I would do weekly audits of the weights and measures of our meats, cheese, bakery products, and cut produce. I would audit products on the shelf to ensure the size and labeling were accurate. I would hang sale tags and ensure that the bi-monthly major sale change overs were done on time. I also acted as “light” IT for the store, helping resolve issues with registers and scales. I would order office supplies for the store and helped on the council that would decided on the use of store emergency funds for helping employees in need.

Front End Supervisor, 05/2012 to 09/2013
Whole Foods Market – 10810 Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85028
I did as much as I possibly could. I loved this position because I could always find something to do.
Handling customer returns, concerns, or inquiries was always a pleasure. I could hop on register and take care of customers and help my team. If neither of those parts of the job were needed, I could bag groceries or clean or make sure our items were stocked. There were small bits of office work, but once that was done, I was on the floor. I prefer being right there along side my team and my customers.

Barista, 08/2010 to 02/2011
Borders – 4555 E Cactus Road Phoenix, AZ 85032
I provided delicious coffee/tea/blended beverages to students and people to help them get a start or boost to their day! Time management was key here because there were lots of timers to keep the coffee as fresh as can be. Dishes clean. Espresso shots full of flavor. And tasty pastries soft and yummy. I closed a lot, so I had to log shrink and clean up to ensure it was beautiful for my opener.
Beyond the typical Barista duties, I had to help as much as I could with book questions, suggestions and of course make sure the Mahjong ladies were comfortable for their Tuesday night games.

Senior Game Adviser, 05/2008 to 06/2010
Gamestop – 4550 E Cactus Road Phoenix, AZ 85032
Videogames. I sold 'em. I told people about 'em. I helped people find just the thing they were looking for. The videogame industry is a large and booming market that moves fast, so I had to keep up with all that through lots of research in my free time. As a SGA, I had to open the store, take in shipments of product, do inventory on a daily basis for high cost products, and close the store.
I had to help my team meet their sales goals, keep up on their knowledge, and provide the best customer experience around.

Barista, 08/2007 to 03/2009
Starbucks – 4025 E Thunderbird Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032
I opened a lot! When my regulars came into the store at 5AM, I was the bright, happy face they saw behind the counter. I made them the best drinks in town and to this day have a few of their orders seared into my memory. I provided them a good start to their day and fast service to get them going.
Opening meant I did a lot of setup, prepared mixes for the day, brewed tea/coffee, set up the pastry case. And then their was inventory. Mornings were busy with tired people needing coffee to get going, but when I wasn't making them the best latte they ever had, I was counting straws and coffee beans.

About
I want to create things. I dabble in music, art, 3d modeling, photogrammetry, sprite art, and game design. Honestly, I just enjoy making things. I’ve learned that the only way to get yourself out there is to just do it. Even if it may make you look like a fool. Even if you are not the best at what you do. You can never learn if you don’t try. When I make something, I like to “throw it out there”. Put it online and just see if anyone cares about it. Have I had any success? No. I’ve put two very simple games online that got maybe twenty hits between the two of them. I put my songs online and only had moderate success with one, but the others just blended in to the background. But despite all this, I keep trying. Because that’s what you’ve gotta do. Work and work and work and get better and try again. Do it for the love and the passion. Do if for yourself. That’s pretty much me. I just wanna create things and make people happy.
