Managing the hiring process, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, communicating with each employee on job status. Teaching employees the trade and what our company expects when implementing/building with certain materials. Working with contractors on a weekly basis to keep them informed on the progress of the job and answering any questions they may have. Working with inspectors to ensure our quality of work meets state and local county codes. Laying block, brick, rock, laboring, building scaffolding, making mortar, helping our employees build an excellent quality project for our clients. Ordering supplies, and materials for the job. Sitting down with clients and helping them make choices with regard to products according to their needs and wants. Networking with various vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to help continued work for our employees.

SUB NOTE: I started helping my husband run the company due to a decrease in employees. Since helping him we have managed to change the company profile to smaller jobs and increase the number of quality employees we have working with us now. My husband is at the point where he is comfortable running the company again. Therefore, I am ready to enter back into the workforce and finding alternative employment.

Case research using various tools such as Westlaw, Rejis, Accurint, Missouri Secretary of State, DOR, DL Bureau, locating witnesses, taking recorded statements, drafting demands, ordering records and bills as needed. Client contact and communication on a regular basis. Settlement documents when a case settles and disbursement of funds. Filing dismissals with the court when a case settled. This was mostly a litigation firm so most of the work required prepping for litigation and trial on 90 percent of the cases handled at this firm. Hiring experts for various cases and various needs.
