About Me

Born and raised in Amman, Jordan; Rania Khatib moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design and acquire her Bachelor's in Fine Art Interior Design. Rania hopes that through a life dedicated to creativity and creation in New York; a city filled with diversity and vibrancy, she will stand as a role model for young girls in the Arab world who wish to be heard and who refuse to blindly follow in the footsteps of that which is conventional and conservative. ???????

Moving forward, Rania hopes to continue upholding dualities of ambition and activism as she tackles and comments on our world's issues through design. Rania yearns for an environment filled with creative production and exchange, where all can create, collaborate and learn together. Rania is eager to continue exploring, learning, and challenging herself in ways of representation, technical skill and theoretical knowledge. She believes that a career in Interior Design allows her to remain true to who she is and what she believes in; "we need more art in the world if we are to truly become one."
