While working as an office assistant at Webster University’s School of Education, I have developed and improved my office communication, how to operate office machines, proper office etiquette, written communication, media communication, leadership, listening, organization, interpersonal and intrapersonal relationship skills. My ability to be self-oriented and self-motivated, time management, and how to properly and efficiently resolve conflict in the workplace. The School of Education requires me to answer phone calls with the appropriate etiquette and provide the caller with insightful answers while also providing the caller with a referral to a faculty member that is better suited to assist them with their needs. As an office assistant, I am also required to complete any copying or scanning projects that are asked of me. I am often asked to finalize and review any spreadsheets that come my way, along with any papers that professors would like me to proofread or edit. I am often working on the computers (mainly Microsoft office), all Google Drive apps, along with researching information which allowed me to improve my troubleshooting skills. I have plenty of experience with face to face communication as I am required to assist any students or faculty who walk into the office with questions.

My time at Jack-in-the-Box taught me how to think fast and effectively under pressure. I was promoted to team leader within the first few months of working there,
Skills Acquired: money handling, drive through, front counter, making the food, and working in the sixth position which requires me to move around and assist any team member who is struggling, scheduling paperwork, ability to work in a team member oriented environment, customer service, and conflict resolution but, was unable to attend the classes for the title team leader due to the fact that I was attending college in St. Louis in the fall.

I have learned how to deliver a proper demonstrative/informative and persuasive speech properly through oral interpretation.

Activities: Cheerleading, HOSA, PLTW, and online extracurricular activities (college Preparation courses)
In high school the courses I took were a representation of my passions along with the state requirements. The passionate courses were: Zoology, Ceramics, Personal Finance, French, Missouri Conservation and Energy Sustainability, Child Development, Project Lead the Way, and Psychology 101. I receive high grades in each class and was able to discover my strengths in leadership, oral and written communication, conflict resolution, problem solving, and quick learning and processing information skills.

National America Miss Pageant (NAM) — A beauty pageant that focused on maximizing inner beauty and confidence. (2015)

Judged on my ability to deliver a personal statement speech, showcasing my grace and personality, and completing interview questions.


Warren County Fair Queen Pageant (2016) — A pageant that allowed my to support my community and learn about how the town is Operated.
During this pageant, I went on a tour of the town and meet with the town officials. As a part of the pageant, I completed an interview round, ball gown round, and a final question round. When the pageant was completed all contestants assisted with the fairs activities and acted as volunteers for the community.
