ABOUT ME
I passionately seek out to discover new challenges with a positive attitude and a constant drive. Dance has been able to give me the experiences that led me to my current career path. My love for performing and sports made it easy for me to decide where I wanted to go in life. As a dancer, I have learned to be quick on my feet and that I can handle any task, big or small. I feel accomplished bringing joy to others and reach success when I know I was able to make someone smile.
I began dancing at Performing Arts Academy in New Jersey at 7 years old, where I trained and competed in jazz, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, acro, hip hop and tap. While at Performing Arts Academy, I received several honors and awards and was a member of the United States Dance Team. I was a varsity cheerleader and dance team member during my 4 years in high school and was named captain my senior year for both sports.
In May 2014, I proudly graduated Penn State University with degrees in Commercial Management and Public Relations. While in college, I was a four-year member of the Penn State Lionettes Dance Team, holding a captain position my senior year, leading the team to our third consecutive NDA College National Championship. As a Penn State student, I interned for the Brooklyn Nets, where I worked closely with the Brooklynettes Dance Team and the Brooklyn Nets Kids. Upon graduating, I began working as an Executive Assistant for Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils.
Currently, I work for the Events and Venue Partnerships department at iHeartMedia. I am also a member and choreographer for DanceWorks New York City, the city’s largest performance-based dance organization for advanced & technically trained dancers who want to continue choreographing and performing post-college and into their adult life. Most recently, I also began teaching technique and conditioning for a new company, named City Movement Company as well as choreographing for studios around New Jersey.
