Student seeking employment or internship for kinesiology major

Cindy Abelgas Sermonia

I have acknowledged the skills through about 10+ years of school and education. I am currently a student at California State University, San Marcos. During these years, I have been active in my community-- volunteering at a school and at a hospital, and getting involved with my church's activities. I have acquired and learned many new skills along the way. I hope to fully utilize the skills I have learned from these various extracurricular activities in this new position.

In applying for this position I hope to further develop my solving-problems skills, communication skills, and leadership skills by providing a comforting and calm environment for myself and for anyone else of the issue. Through the development of these skills I hope to expand the company's ability to target the daily sales goals and stimulate a fun and peaceful atmosphere.

Jamba Juice
Team member/Team Lead
San Diego, California
February 2015-CURRENT
· I applied as a team member and was in charge of assisting guests with the best customer service in juices and smoothies. I would help out any guests with confusion, questions, or amongst anything else I could be of service to them. I would do many other tasks around the store as well: stock, refill fresh produce, make drinks, handling cash and make a guests’ day by providing superb customer satisfaction. After working hard for months, I was then promoted to a Team Lead. As a team lead, I would be the manager in charge of the store. I had much more tasks: counting the safe, being responsible of the store and the team members and being able to help guests with any distress or unsatisfactory times. I have dealt with all kinds of customers and do my best to resolve any situation. I learned many skills after becoming a team lead and I believe I have much to offer for this position.
