Established in 1992, Expertech's core competency is newly manufactured thermal processing systems (diffusion furnaces) for the semiconductor industry. We also provide field service, repair parts and upgrades for a wide range of thermal systems manufactured by Expertech and other OEM suppliers.
We are seeking staff additions with a flexible and adaptable attitude. The successful candidates will possess a solid work ethic, accountability and willingness to cross train in all departments.
Applicants with DIFFUSION FURNACE EXPERIENCE will be called first!
Job Description
Under limited supervision, performs electronic or electro-mechanical production subassembly operations to buildup and assemble units of moderate complexity such as modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses and other electronic assemblies. Works from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components. Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. May include some selection and ordering.
Skill Requirements
Must be able to read and understand BOM's, drawings, diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, and to use a variety of small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers. Must be able to read, write and perform minor assembly calculations.
Experience
Requires one year related assembly experience. Must have knowledge of soldering techniques, color codes, component identification and understanding of production prints. Cabling and harness experience is required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch, lean and climb ladders and use small hand and battery operated tools for long periods of time, Must be able to hear verbal directions and safety instructions. Requires superior hand/eye coordination, and dexterity and the ability to lift at least 45 pounds.
