Social Media Specialist
The Proving Ground Bouldering Gym is hiring a part-time Social Media Specialist!
Strong candidates should have a solid understanding of each social media platform (primarily Facebook & Instagram) and how to best leverage them to help meet our business goals.
Remote work will be allowed once trained and established in the role, but this will initially be an in person position. Climbing experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a social content calendar (at least 3 month look-ahead).
Create content that fits with The Proving Ground's overall social strategy and approach.
Execute daily posts/interaction on our social platforms (scheduling posts at least one week in advance and developing a robust content library to pull from).
Collaborate with our marketing agency on paid social to optimize efforts.
Bring ideas! Stay on top of trends within the social media world and climbing industry and work with the General Manager to execute and/or bring to the owner group for consideration.
Attend all special events and document accordingly on social platforms.
Requirements
Experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
Relevant degree - Marketing, Design, Photography, Digital Arts
