Reporting to the Box Office Supervisor, the Patron Experience Associates responsibilities include:
Providing all patrons with a positive first impression of DTC by offering superior, individualized customer service via professional face-to-face communication, telephone, and email.
Operating the TheatreManager ticketing system to sell or exchange tickets, sell subscriptions and gift certificates, and utilize the database for performance-related reporting.
Perform box office, house manager and concessions duties for all show performances in the season, including checklists and performance reporting.
Problem solve by effectively communicating with patrons; clarifying any theatre navigation, seating, parking and/or, ticket purchasing confusion.
Assist the Box Office Supervisor or Marketing/Patron Experience Manager with any Patron Experience/Marketing related projects as directed.
The ideal candidates will be:
21 years of age (required for concessions serving)
Good written and verbal communication
Strong team player who can work well under pressure
Background or interest in theatre/performing arts preferred
Experience with Microsoft office and google drive preferred
General availability to work Wednesday-Sunday show shifts for the following dates:
Hound of the Baskervilles: September 11-29, 2019
One November Yankee: October 23-November 10, 2019
A Christmas Carol: December 4-29, 2019
Outside Mullingar: February February 12-March 1, 2020
Million Dollar Quartet: April 15-May 10, 2020
