Office Assistant

- Perform phone work. Convert calls to appointments and perform recall of past patients

- Manage a workload with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize confidential and time sensitive material.

- Perform data entry & database and calendar management

- Communicate with insurance companies and vendors

- Computer proficiency - MS office (primarily Excel and Word), with the capacity to learn other computer based programs related to the practice. Letter and memo writing expertise

- Be responsible – You will be autonomous and must be able to work without constant supervision.

-*Medical experience is a big plus. We are an Audiology/Hearing Aid practice so some of your medical knowledge will not be utilized; however, knowing the ins and outs of dealing w/ patients and insurance companies is useful.

- Be a good telemarketer or learn quickly

- Highly organized, flexible, personable and confident with strong verbal/computer/writing skills

- Be able to grow in an entrepreneurial environment; be proactive, flexible, and willing to stretch.

-Bilingual Spanish a plus
