Mathnasium of Newark is seeking enthusiastic and skilled tutors who love to teach math and build relationships with K-12 students.

Responsibilities for our Tutors:
Engage in initial and ongoing training
Contribute to the creation of an engaging and productive learning environment
Complete administrative tasks as they are assigned
Provide effective math instruction using the Mathnasium method
Assist in tracking the progress of each student
Requirements for our Tutors:
Energetic, patient, and confident personality
Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Exceptional math knowledge and teaching skills through high school.
Education: High school or College (Preferred)
Experience:
Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Tutoring: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: One location - We are accepting applicants that are interested in working at the physical center in Newark. This job is not available for working remotely.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
