Inside Sales Representative

U.S. Surgitech is looking for an inside sales customer support representative. This person must be great on the phone and be extremely comfortable making calls. Leads will often be provided, but it will also be the responsibility of this person to seek out new leads or contacts.

Be the main point of contact of assigned customers / territory
Negotiate contracts, prices and handle paperwork (e.g. quotes invoices, orders)
Respond positively and promptly to customer queries, concerns and complaints to find solutions and defuse tension
Present new or additional products and services to existing customers
Approach prospective clients through cold-calling, email, trade show etc. to meet sales targets
Send reports on sales activity, accounts status and possible issues
Understand the features and benefits of the product line.
Facilitate & Process customer orders, customer calls, backorders and confirmations in an efficient and timely manner.
Provide technical, pricing, and quotation support to customers.
Maintain frequent telephone & email contact with customers for follow-up and relationship-building.
Professionally and courteously answer incoming phone calls.
Cooperatively interact with all team members & departments to successfully meet customer needs.
Track order status, monitor, coordinate and process order delay communication to customers.
Maintain filing of documents and order information.
Record problems and identify customer service process improvements that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Add any scheduled in-service or case to the calendar for your accounts
Collectively work on GPO contracts (HPG, Vizient, Premier, Ascension, VA, Kaiser)

Core Competencies
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook 10) and good general computer skills
Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems and record keeping
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems with difficult customers
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and use sound judgment skills
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as individually, without supervision
Proven experience as an Account Representative or other sales role
Experience in customer service
Familiarity with CRM software is a plus
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
Assertiveness and confidence
Goal-driven with ability to work under pressure
Good problem-solving skills
High school diploma; BS/BA in business is a plus
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Part-time, Monday-Friday 8 am - 2 pm most likely (could lead to full time)

Job Type: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 3 pm

Compensation: Base pay starting at $15 per hour plus commission. The role has the possibility of making up to $120,000 + in the first year.

Health Insurance: Health insurance allowance reimbursed at the rate of 50% or maximum $200 a month.

Benefits: Paid holidays & 10 paid vacation days each calendar year.
