Graphic Design Assistant

We’re a fast growing online retailer based out of Long Beach. We sell CBD health and wellness products. Our products include oils, tinctures, creams, beauty products, pet products and edibles.

We’re looking for a talented and motivated entry level graphic design assistant to join our team and grow with the company.

We have an excellent team. Everyone is intelligent, creative, and laid-back. We feel like a family and have a good time. Our Creative Director designed and built our entire site and you will be learning from and mentored directly by her.

Employment is part-time initially (roughly 20 hours/week) with the goal of transitioning you to full-time as the company grows and you succeed in the role. Full-time employment could occur within 1-3 months.

Compensation is $12/hour (cash) to start. This will increase to $15/hour (cash) and more as you advance in the role.

Responsibilities:
• Graphic design – for a variety of marketing applications
• Website management and development
• Product photography and editing
• Video filming and editing
• Social media post design
• Market research
• Data entry
• Other design/marketing tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Talent in and passion for graphic design. This should be your main career focus and interest.
• Clean, sharp, minimalist aesthetic style
• Eye for trends and good sense for marketing and branding
• Avid social media user
• Good communication, detailed, driven, hard-working and efficient
• Social, friendly, positive, team player
• *Live in the Long Beach area or easy ability to commute here

Desired:
• Technical knowledge and capabilities
• Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
• Interest in or passion for health and wellness
• Knowledge of CBD and its benefits
• Interest and experience in marketing
