Atlas Health is seeking a Financial Resource Coordinator (FRC) for a part-time role in Ashland, Kentucky. The purpose of this position is to help enroll patients in financial aid programs that pay their medical expenses. The FRC will work as a liaison between the patient financial advocate and the financial aid programs. You will report to the company’s Manager of Financial Navigation.

Responsibilities

*

Support Patient Financial Advocates to complete the enrollment process for eligible patients
Submit reimbursement claims and orders for enrolled patients. Receive and track awards in Atlas.
Provide exceptional customer service skills at all times.
Participate in ongoing training to become an expert on medical financial aid programs
Maintain structured and timely contact with the programs by phone whenever possible or as structured via the daily work queue.

Qualifications & Requirements

Passion for helping people and able to solve problems quickly
Adaptability when dealing with changing processes, computer systems, and program policies
Prior experience working in a healthcare environment strongly preferred
Prior experience working with financial aid programs preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma or GED
Amenable to a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift
Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
This position is a remote position, so face-to-face contact with others is completely avoidable.
