Dental Assistant

We are a small by design, highly efficient boutique dental office practicing all aspects of comprehensive and aesthetic family dentistry, with an award winning, highly respected dentist. Our established west Arvada office is state of the art in every way! As a team we are dedicated to low volume, high quality, fee for service patient care. We are seeking a caring, long-term dental professional who is self-motivated and experienced, understands the value of a relationship based practice and can consistently represents these values to our patients.
Our ideal candidate should have the ability to work 24 – 30 hours per week long-term, be business minded and capable of maximizing the practice’s efficiency, productivity and profitability—all the while maintaining a high touch, high service approach to patient management. This team member is independently responsible for, but not limited to, basic chairside 4 handed dental assisting for all aspects of general dentistry, infection control and sterilization, radiography, equipment care and maintenance, clinical inventory control and dental supply ordering. General computer skills are a must as we are a paperless office. In addition to having refined dental assisting skills you must have a team mentality and easily integrate with our existing clinical members.
We provide an excellent work/life balance, serving our patients needs in 14 - 15 days/month during regular business hours, Monday through Friday with varying Mondays/Fridays scheduled off. You will enjoy ample amounts of time off, but when we work, we work hard and efficiently. We are located in west Arvada, near I-70 and Ward Road.

We would like an assistant with the following experience and skills:
*Minimum of 2 year’s experience as a 4 handed dental assistant
*Stable long-term work history as a dental assistant
*A non-EDDA position (some EDDA skills are OK, however, the majority of treatment is delivered by the Dr.). All aspects of general dentistry are practiced including: restorative, aesthetics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, implants, limited orthodontics, etc.
*Radiology and nitrous oxide analgesia certifications
*Must be flexible. Our patients are our priority and there are situations that require a bit of schedule flexibility (i.e. working over a lunch, staying late).
*Must be a self-starter. Needs to have the ability to focus on the task at hand and anticipate what is to come. Be willing to hustle!
*Experience ordering all clinical supplies for a dental office and maintaining a purchasing budget.
*Must be highly professional and experienced with caring for families, children and senior citizens.

Hourly rate based upon knowledge and experience. We offer vacation and paid time off, match 4% on 401(k), and dental benefits.
