Coding/Robotics/Game Development Coach

Code Wiz has been operating in four other Massachusetts locations besides Needham for a few years now and we have found that for our coaches, this is not just a job but a stepping stone to better things. You are getting a great experience and we have heard multiple times the work at Code Wiz has helped other coaches get good internships and jobs. Responsibilities: 1. Use the curriculum to teach and lead children in their lessons and projects. 2. Run Trial Classes. 3. Come up with creative ideas that kids could implement in their projects. 4. Be able to respond to parent questions about child progress. 5. Maintain a high quality of team performance and job satisfaction 6. Assist in training new coaches as needed Expectations: 1. Ensure a positive learning experience for students following the provided curriculum. 2. Keeping things new and fun in the coding class adhering to the students learning style and choice of what 3. they are interested in. 3. Fully engage with your students 4. Be welcoming to parents as you see them 5. Demonstrated Traits and Values: Required Skills and Experience: 1. Some experience working with kids in a camp, tutoring, child care, or after-school program 2. Interest and background in one of the following fields: programming in Scratch, Python, Java, Unity, Robotics, 3. First Lego League 4.
