Bartender, Food Prep, Dishwasher
This would be a great job for someone wanting to work part-time (evenings and weekends) in the wine industry to learn more about wines from all over the world. It is a part-time job that may be 15 - 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include: Food preparation, dishwashing, pouring wine and beer.
Work experience: Previous experience in a wine tasting room, wine bar, or a venue similar to those would be helpful but not required..
Skills: Food preparation including slicing meats and cheeses. Portion control of all food and beverage products. Ability to create attractive charcuterie, cheese and smoked seafood plates. Desire and knowledge (or willingness to obtain the knowledge) to engage with customers who need assistance with wine or beer suggestions. The ability to be a good listener and conversationalist.
Education: Must have or be willing to obtain a MAST 12 permit. Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Card for King County/Seattle.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00 hour plus tips.
