Since 1851, Notre Dame High School, San Jose has provided an exceptional Catholic college preparatory education for young women in Santa Clara Valley. Notre Dame High School has a challenging college preparatory curriculum that integrates classroom learning with downtown educational opportunities in culture, science and technology. The school has a diverse student body, extensive honors and advanced placement programs, and a very talented and dedicated Faculty and Staff. •Support and follow the direction of the head coach in matters that pertain to swimming
•Mentor and train students in all aspects of swimming
•Develop and implement basic principles surrounding the fundamentals of swimming
•Oversee all swimming matches
•Help provide transportation to and from practice and competitions
•Train and monitor students’ use of swimming equipment
•Inventory and properly maintain all equipment
•Create and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
•Two years of college study (AA or Bachelor’s preferred)
•Previous swimming coaching experience (preferably middle school/high school)
•Playing experience through High School (college preferred)
•Extensive knowledge of swimming
•Physical ability to perform tasks associated with swimming
•Ability to attend all practices
•Lifeguard certification preferred
•CPR and First Aid certification preferred
