After School Care Teacher

The Ivy School is hiring After School Care Teachers to start April 10, 2019.

This is a fun job in a caring school community. Each day you'll work with other After School staff to play indoors and outdoors, create music, make art and serve snack in a camp-like atmosphere for 15-30 students. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 2:30-6:15pm, and Friday 12:30 to 6:15pm. Pay starts at $15.45 per hour.

This position has great potential for growth. After school staff are welcome to and encouraged to teach summer camps and many Ivy After School Staff have gained full-time employment as Assistant Teachers at The Ivy School.

Current First Aid/CPR Certification and Food Handler's card are a plus and will be required by the end of April.

Completion of FBI Criminal History fingerprint and background clearance is required before April 10, 2019. All applicants who have worked in the field of education are required to submit a disclosure release authorizing former employers to release all information related to any substantiated reports of child abuse, sexual conduct under ORS 339.370, or crimes listed in ORS 342.143, including all related documents.
