Ensure the design and implementation of a safe and high quality program
Over-all maintenance of all aspects of the program.
Plan curriculum and lessons with other teachers.
Ensure program is compliant with all EEC regulations
Attend trainings and schedule staff development initiatives for staff in accordance to annual DEEC professional development requirements
Flexible work schedule to assist in staffing patterns and accommodate program needs.
Teach children ages 15 months to 2.9 years.
Work in a team environment
Liaison with parents including intake, referral and other social service agencies
Coordinate parent activities i.e. parent workshops; open house
Program liaison with the community via partnerships/collaborations with professional and/or civic groups
Other jobs as assigned
Able to work from 7:30am to 5:30 pm.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and team building skills
Must be EEC Director qualified
CPR and first aid certification
Minimum of two years’ experience
Experience in curriculum development
Experience working with low-income and bi-lingual families preferred
Bachelors Degree in Education/Early Childhood Education;
CORI/SORI check required
early childhood education: 2 years
Required license or certification:
EEC Certification; CPR/First Aid Certification
