Archaeology, Education, and Horticulture Internship Opportunities (paid with optional housing provided):
Spend your summer learning and exploring at Strawbery Banke Museum, an outdoor history museum located in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Strawbery Banke is a vibrant 10-acre waterfront campus dedicated to bringing 300+ years of American history to life.
In addition to gaining specialized experience within museum departments and an understanding of each department’s role within the museum, interns will get the opportunity to participate in intern excursions. Interns will visit local and regional museums to meet other museum professionals, critically observe how museums interpret history, and gain a deeper understanding of how New England’s past is relevant today.
Qualified graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in academic institutions are encouraged to apply for the museum’s 10-week Summer Internship Program. See specific internship descriptions on our website for additional qualifications and application instructions: ------------
