Fall Internship: August 26 - December 20 (dates are flexible)
Stipend: $1275
Hours: 14-16 hours/week during regular business hours, M-F 10am-5pm
(Days to be determined with candidate)
Location: Chevy Chase, MD and surrounding metro area (red-line metro)

The James Renwick Alliance Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates, the opportunity to assist in the operations of one the nation’s leading nonprofit for advancing contemporary American craft. Through a combination of learning experiences, work projects, and collaborations, interns will become integral members of our team. Interns are expected to participate in daily activities, contribute skills and ideas, and produce excellent work. Interns will, among other things, undertake projects relating to public relations, communications, development, and arts administration. Intern will receive insight into non-profit financial management by assisting on annual tax letters, year-end pledges, and an annual report.

Required:
- Ability to produce clear and accurate written content
- Knowledge of basic administrative programs (i.e. Microsoft Office suite and G-suite)
- Strong organizational skills and accuracy, attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Enthusiasm for the arts nonprofit industry
- Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite is strongly preferred
