Nutrition Marketing Internship
Balanced Habits is the leading Food Coaching program that trains, certifies, and supports fitness professionals on how to provide nutrition services to their clients, and right now we are looking to provide an opportunity for a creative individual who is interested in gaining some experience in the marketing field. We are a unique company because our marketing efforts include attracting new fitness businesses that are in need of nutrition programming for their members, growing brand awareness for individuals seeking weight-loss solutions, as well as developing marketing resources and insights for our partnered businesses to grow their own customer base.
Under the direction of our senior marketing coordinator, the highlights of this internship will include…
- Weekly upkeep (reporting & analysis)
- Planning, creating, and scheduling social media content
- Generating monthly B2B prospect lists
- Creating blog content
- Researching new technologies/services to increase our marketing efficiency
- Developing and executing a campaign of your choice to attract new business partners
The best part about this internship is that the majority of the work will be done from home. All employees of Balanced Habits work virtually, and therefore we are looking for someone who is pro-active and can work independently. Once each week, you will be required to meet up with our marketing coordinator in the Long Beach area to brainstorm, learn the basics of your various tasks, and set your desired projects and initiatives for the week to come. Although, there is no compensation, the number of required work hours and work times are flexible. This internship is more about getting some real-world work experience (and school credits if needed) in whatever capacity you can contribute, and we will support you in pursuing the types of projects you are interested in developing. We are looking for someone who is driven, enthusiastic, flexible, and unafraid to bring forth fresh ideas to better reach our customers. This internship would be great for any college student who is studying marketing and looking to learn a variety of new skills as well as contribute your own unique expertise.
Here is a list of some of the technologies we use. Some knowledge of any of these programs would be a benefit, but not required as it really depends on one’s willingness and ability to learn.
o Microsoft Word, Xcel
o Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
o Google Adwords, Facebook
If this sounds like a great internship for you please send us your résumé and let us know why you are interested in interning for Balanced Habits. We look forward to hearing from you.
