The College Scribe Student Program
Overview of the company: Scriberr is a group of passionate storytellers based in Los Angeles in the media production industry committed to uncovering the truth while delivering provoking content challenging the mainstream media’s existing shortfalls. We are a new age of non-partisan news looking to engage all sides of the aisle while also delivering inspirational stories, political content, lifestyle trends and product tips.
Summary: The Scriberr Student Program is for inspired, passionate college students who care tremendously about delivering honest yet innovative news. Students will gain real work experience guidance from top industry influencers and will be assigned a department that matches their skill set, work experience and career aspirations.
-Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree.
-Resume and cover letter detailing why you should be elected for this program.
-Strong academic record - minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or above to be considered.
-Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
-Committed and available to work the entire semester/summer.
-Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
-College credit is NOT required to be eligible for the program.
-Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without a visa or sponsorship (CPT-seeking candidates not accepted).
If selected to move forward in the interview process:
Demonstrated knowledge of current events, products and/or political news.
Transcript or letter showing proof of enrollment.
Letters of recommendation.
Areas of placement: Students may be placed in Journalism, Production, Digital, or Corporate in Scriberr, LLC based on their prior experience and interests determined in the interview process.

Summer Schedule: 8 weeks long. 32 hours per week.
Note: We are a 24/7 news operation. Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. We do our best to work around your class schedule.
