Local nonprofit is seeking an Online Marketing Intern to assist with the daily operational functions. Internship requires at least 16 hours per week.
Under the leadership of our Program Director the Public Relations and Marketing Intern will handle the various responsibilities of a public relations/marketing/communications professional in the non-profit. The intern must be knowledgeable on real-world writing, media relations, marketing and promotions. The overall goal of the Public Relations intern is to increase the organization’s visibility by connecting us with tv, radio, online, and print media.
• Develop media relations for organization
• Ensure visibility on tv, radio, newspaper and magazines
• Maintain and increase social media visibility
• Create buzz campaigns for fundraisers, events, and company news
