Astar Education Institute, a non-profit organization which offers a variety of language and vocational programs for domestic and international students, is seeking a person with marketing experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will be able to incorporate different marketing tactics to recruit students for the many programs that we offer. The candidate will also be able to attend numerous community events to represent Astar in order to continue the growth of Astar's programs.
Under the direct supervision of the Director, the applicant shall:
Locate & recruit local students for our medical training programs.
Develop partnerships with local organizations, schools, etc.
Managing client and potential client communication in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
Serve as an advocate for program participants to ensure a positive experience before, during and after our training programs.
Assist with orientation needs for new program applicants.
Maintain thorough documentation of all communications.
Perform office functions and other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 1 year of marketing or office experience (other relevant work experience can be substituted)
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize urgent tasks.
Background in field of education or medication is a plus
Strong project management skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated knowledge of career training market
Fluent in English (Required) but Spanish proficiency is also a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
