Marketing Intern

The opportunity:
The Marketing Intern position offers the chance to gain exposure to many different areas of Marketing and Strategic Communications at a quickly growing startup. This unpaid internship will provide experience working on projects in a wide variety of Marketing related disciplines including Guerilla Marketing, Partnerships & Community Scouting and Social Media Marketing. This internship will last approximately 3 months (September-December 2019). Candidates should be able to commit to 15-25 hours per week.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to)
Research potential partnership opportunities
Function as a brand ambassador for KettleSpace and network with NYC colleges and universities
Support marketing manager with monitoring digital content platforms
Contribute to social media coverage as needed at our ongoing community events and day-to-day activities at our work spaces
Provide administrative support to the marketing team with activating street teams and guerilla marketing

Preferably a Junior or Senior in college, pursuing a Marketing or Communications degree
Must be a team player with ability to prioritize
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
Some experience in an office environment preferred
Ability to work up 15-25 hours/week for approximately 3 months
Must currently be able to perform duties out of our Manhattan office
