Marketing, Graphic Arts, Media and Communication Intern

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to be involved with a start-up Medicinal Cannabis company that will be based in multiple states, MD, VA, WV and more to come. The significant portion of this internship, 95%, is done at your home via of computer and phone.

Description : Cannabis for Wellness seeks a dynamic, self-starter to assist marketing and communication efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for budding company that focuses on providing excellent holistic care to patients through cannabis.

•Update and maintain CFW’s social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Podcast, Pinsterest Instagram, and so on.
•Assist in planning, writing, and managing monthly eNewsletter
•Draft, distribute and pitch news releases, media alerts and other services.
•Designing flyers, graphics, e-vites and other marketing material for major events hosted by CFW.
•Contributing with creative ideas to reach and engage different audience.
•Conceptualizing and creating marketing communication products for different media;
•Designing brochures, reports, one pagers, fast facts and infographics;
•Update the CFW website when needed
•Organize and attend monthly marketing committee meeting including preparing agenda and taking minutes
•Reach out to the community organizations, general public and doctors’ offices to educate them on the benefit of cannabis to treat multiple illnesses
•Collaborating with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
•Plan and facilitate Marketing Committee meetings, including distributing agenda and taking minutes.

Start Date: Position open until filled, Requires 3-6 months with 12 hours weekly commitment.
