The Directernship Opportunity
Issuer Direct's Directernship Program is a chance for students (Directerns) to gain real world experience and insight into our Financial community under the guidance of industry experts. Directerns can expect in depth exposure in the areas of Business Development, Finance, Technology, Communications, Marketing or Human Resources.

Each Directern is assigned to an opening befitting of their coursework. Directerns will develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an integral part of their assigned team. Through trainings in research, technical programs, workflow processes and exposure to Issuer Direct's corporate culture, the Directernship will provide a robust, well-rounded opportunity, for those accepted into the Program.
As the Program commences, Directerns will be partnered with a company mentor who will establish corporate guidelines, answer important questions and advise on issues regarding professional development and conduct.

The overall expectation of all Directerns will be inclusive learning and development in addition to proposals of problem solving solutions, process improvements, team related community service (time permitting), and ownership of a project from conception to completion at the end of the Directernship.

Business Analytics Directern (Spring semester)
Job Duties:
Collects and reports on sales and marketing analytics data through Salesforce; performs regular data entry and clean up in Salesforce
Conducts a SWOT analysis to understand the competitive landscape and how our competitors are positioned
Analyzes buyers, who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteria
Understands and documents the buyer's process; where they get information and the complete details behind their decision making
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business rules, systems and user requirements, and prepares specifications and recommendations
Helps identify and document benefits, costs and risks associated with solution alternatives
Supports development of department and company plans and strategy
Follows up with the project plan to ensure deadlines are being met
Manages data entry and lead organization
Assists the Sales team with administrative support
Performs other related duties as assigned

Become an Issuer Directern!
In order to be eligible, you must:

Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Have a current status of at least a Junior (minimum 2 full years of higher education completed) at an accredited College or University
Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester
Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
Have part time weekly availability during core office hours, not to exceed 29 hours, for about about 15 weeks
Be responsible for providing your own funding for commuting expenses

Proficient in PC/Internet technologies and Microsoft Office Suite
Problem solving skills

Physical Conditions/Requirements:

Position requires the ability to hear and communicate clearly, orally and in writing
Capable of using a keyboard effectively
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk
