• Coordinate Payette Farmers Market including: recruiting and enrolling vendors, prepare site resources, and oversee weekly Farmer’s Market starting in July
• Development of marketing and advertising promoting the Payette Farmers Market
• Gather pertinent resources and information i.e., compiling, creating and sharing resources to increase awareness of SNAP/EBT/Food Stamp programs and dollar match opportunities at markets

Required Qualifications:

• Outgoing and comfortable working with the public (youth and adults) and volunteers
• Self-motivated and works independently
• Has experience answering phones, responding to email, communicating through social media
• Has completed coursework in Agriculture, Economics, Horticulture, Sociology, Environmental Science, Food Systems, Food Safety, or other relevant subject areas
• Ability to provide reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in Spanish
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills
• Enjoys working in a variety of settings and environments with diverse audiences

How to Apply:

• Hourly rate of $12.00 per hour, maximum of 400 hours

Work Dates:
• June – August, some evening and weekend hours may be required.
