Intern
Designology, is well established Spokane-based luxury residential and commercial interior design firm with project locations across the country. Our outcomes are creative, cutting edge, and highly involved. We are looking for an intern/design assistant to grow with our expanding business. The office atmosphere is fast-paced, energetic, and serious - yet we still laugh and have a lot of fun. Interior design formal education from a 4-year institution is a must, but candidate can be currently attending university. This is a paid, part-time position, that has the potential to become a full-time gig. You will be learning the ins and outs of luxury design from an industry leader and NCIDQ certified professional designers. Starting hours are from 16-24 hours per week, and can quickly accelerate to full-time with the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Revit (skill level 8+)
Photoshop 8+
InDesign 7+
Phone Skills 9+ (must be able to call on strangers to gather information such as specifications, prices, shipping costs, etc.)
Organizational Skills 9+
Be able to multi-task and follow several directions at once
People-oriented, both with individuals and groups
Must be able to speak about interiors using the language of design
Positive, professional, prompt, and self-motivated
Start date TBD, but is flexible. If you would like to be an intern the position will be available all summer of 2022, and into Fall semester. We work closely with local design schools, so getting class credit for this position will not be a problem.
