The Terjenian Thomas Assembly Internship Program gives college students of Armenian descent an opportunity to live and work in Washington, D.C. for eight weeks each summer. At the same time, interns gain exposure to the policy-making process in our nation's capital.

Last summer, interns were placed with Senator Edward J. Markey, Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., Rep. Gus Bilirakis, Rep. Jackie Speier, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, Rep. Paul Mitchell, Rep. Duncan Hunter, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Smithsonian Folklife, Eurasia Foundation, Embassy of Armenia to the United States, and more.

The Armenian Assembly also gives students of Armenian descent the opportunity to live and work in Armenia for eight weeks. In addition to their internship placements, interns gain exposure to Armenian culture, meet with government officials, and tour historic sites throughout Armenia and Artsakh.
