Tutoring Interns
What? East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring (EPATT) is in search of interns to assist the Elementary School Group (ESG) in providing a positive and productive learning experience for K-5 students.
Who? This position is for people who are organized, have a positive attitude, and enjoy working with young children.
When? Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 6:15pm
Where? EPATT Classrooms 1 & 2, St. Francis Church of Assisi, 1425 Bay Rd, EPA
EPATT’s mission is to change the life trajectory of local youth and their families through academic support, parent empowerment, and tennis instruction.
Position Specifics
Interns will work specifically with the Elementary School Director and Site Coordinator to do the following:
Supervise students on site
Serve food
Implement timely schedule including transitions and dismissals
Grade quizzes or other academic work
Help students access online tutoring
Troubleshoot technical issues before and during tutoring
Assist with clean up and closing
Skills You Will Acquire

How to communicate with your team
How to be a positive role model for young students
How to maintain structure and organization in a dynamic environment
