Black to Business is a community that focuses on bringing the highest quality of resources and connections to entrepreneurs of African descent. We help entrepreneurs survive and scale the first 3 years of business by providing access to resources, events, and community.

Our mission is to assist entrepreneurs in taking actionable steps to scale their businesses, and meet the needs of their customers.
How does Black to Business achieve this goal? By providing Black service-based businesses with relatable business resources in a centralized location. This ultimately fosters economic growth, and positions Black business owners as competitors in the global market.
This is a virtual position, contract 5-7 hours a week position.
We are searching for a driven, detail-oriented Content Creator to produce high-quality outputs for our business. As a Content Creator you will update existing material, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. Your expertise areas will include: creating engaging material for our audience on social media platforms and weekly newsletters.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Researching industry-related engaging topics
Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
Promoting content on social media and also monitoring engagement (includes important tags and creative hashtags)
Utilize graphic platforms for creating visual content on social media (Canva)
Scheduling in the Social Scheduler and Mailchimp
Creating Copy for Weekly Newsletters
Associate Degree or equivalent
Social Media Management
Experience using Canva
Strong English written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to appropriately communicate with all levels of customers from assistants to Partners
Working knowledge of Email, Google Drive, Mailchimp, and scheduling
Access to a reliable computer and wifi connection
