With one of the most engaged audiences online, Doing Things helps some of the world's most notable brands reach their target consumer. Ongoing and past brand partners include ABinBev, Netflix, Match Group, Comedy Central, and MTV.
We house the fastest growing library of viral videos on the internet thanks to a collection of Doing Things entertainment brands, including @AnimalsDoingThings (3.4M), @MiddleClassFancy (1.3M), @DrunkPeopleDoingThings (6.7M), @ShitHeadSteve (4.4M) and several others.
Doing Things has an owned viral video library of 100,000+ viral videos that power shows like MTV's Ridiculousness, and reaches a TV audience with our co-owned Nat Geo WILD show, Howie Mandel’s Animals Doing Things. We also work with an extensive network of over 50 comedy and entertainment brands on Instagram with a total audience of over 60 million people, and represent outside comedy brands exclusively.
We are seeking Content Coordinators to support Doing Things brands by discovering, acquiring, and getting permission to distribute content across our brands. Content Coordinators will spend most of their time on social platforms - discovering viral videos, and getting owners to submit their videos to Doing Things. In addition, this individual will work collaboratively with Brand Managers to rate and schedule video content that is in the Doing Things Library. Content Coordinators love social content, making people laugh, and are passionate about building social brands.
Sourcing the internet - Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok for viral videos
Getting the video owners to submit videos to Doing Things OR;
Getting permission from the owner to distribute the video on Doing Things platforms
Rating viral videos and preparing them for distribution on respective brand pages
Rating videos on Doing Things internal dashboard as they are submitted to Doing Things
Coordinating shares with external network partners on Facebook and Instagram
Scheduling content on Buffer
Very deep understanding of social media content - specifically memes and viral videos
A love for social media - you use it all day every day
Experience with social scheduling tools such as Buffer is a plus
