Barcentive is a new mobile app start-up company looking for an excited and positive person to take on the dual-role with our Founder / CEO as our Business Development Manager. We are a game-changing disruptive technology company that offers an on-boarding package incentive, equity, a flexible schedule and the opportunity to learn top-notch sales strategies along with the chance to break into a highly lucrative and promising industry. This opportunity is positioned for upward movement and additional responsibilities. Currently, this is a mobile, work from home, part-time, B2B position, with the opportunity to expand into a full time role.

About the job:
As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the on-set face of the company. We're looking for someone with 1-2 years outbound B2B experience who is confident and works well independently. You'll be establishing connections with some of the region’s top bars and small businesses, creating partnerships between us and them. The ideal candidate must have presentation skills and encompass quick study habits to comprehend, apply and scale a newer form of negotiation training. This individual will also be encouraged to share and creatively develop new and innovate ways to approach clients. Your main tasks are people oriented, so you need to be outgoing and comfortable pitching and closing business.

We’d love someone who understands the bar promotion business, has a passion for providing a disruptive solution technology, understands the landscape and limitations of social media and SEO, understands the mobile-app technology industry, is results-orientated and keen on delivering the best possible client experience. Having an existing network of social media friends, followers or influencers ranging between the ages of 21-35 years old is an added value, but not required.

You will be responsible for:
• Cold calling
• Following up on generated prospects
• Qualifying prospects
• Connecting with and setting appointments with new bars and small businesses
• Pitching our campaign concepts to bars and small businesses in person
• Closing partnerships with bars and small businesses
• Meeting desired growth targets within timeframes
• Nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships

Requirements:

• Most importantly a positive attitude - we are looking for someone who cares about helping bar owners and local business increase revenue and compete in an Amazon-driven economy
• Self-starter who is able to work in a highly demanding environment
• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, strong grammar and writing skills, and an unquenchable desire to promote the brand
• Enthusiasm about entrepreneurship and the start-up landscape
