Entertainment company is seeking a student for an un-paid internship for our Toluca Hills office and recording studio downtown Los Angeles to support our CEO in various aspects of the business. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter who is highly organized and has the ability to manage multiple projects. The intern will be working closely with our CEO both administratively and creatively on events, sales, public relations, talent booking, event coordinating, social media, marketing, etc. This is an ideal position for anyone with good communication skills, file organization, and can work under deadlines.

The Public Relations Intern must be a strong writer and have the ability to work in a fast past environment. You will write content for client news releases, blogs, social media and more. Upcoming events will require you to assist, manage social media and overall event planning. We have fun! This is an unpaid internship. The company will cover the costs for an intern to travel to and from events and other approved out-of-pocket expenses including a commission on a project-by-project basis.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in bachelor’s program in event management/production or related field

Proficiency with MAC & Google Suite

Good attention to detail

Excellent PEOPLE skills a must. Candidate will be tasked with interacting with clients, vendors and other industry professionals.

Good communication and organization skills

Exceptional at drafting emails and quick with correspondence, ability to type at least 55 WPM

Time management, gatekeeping skills

Assist with other office work as needed

Availability at least 3 days a week

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about many aspects of the music industry and have a hands on role in advancing an artist's career. Any skills or experience pertaining to social media management, publicity, merchandise management, and/or office organization are a big plus.
