Administrative Internship

The Administrative Intern will play a key role in role in supporting the 2019 Hummingbird Gala in NYC. The Administrative Intern will perform a variety of administrative and logistical tasks. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. The role requires excellent writing and overall communication skills.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ability to multi-task: assist with other programs, campaigns and administrative projects or duties as needed
- Assist with writing, proofing, and production of public communication and materials
- Type and word process documents as needed
- Maintain office readiness including monitoring and stocking office supplies
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Suite and Google Apps
- Other duties as assigned

- Outgoing and energetic with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to identify quick solutions
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong computer proficiency skills that include managing sponsor information in large databases
- Works well in a small office, team environment
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- Able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word Suite Google Apps
- Social Media Analytics and Graphic Design a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator and Final Cut Pro/iMovie a plus

*Please note, this is a non-paid internship. We do, however, work with school to offer credit*
